Flea Control Maidenhead
Flea infestations are one of the most common pest problems that householders find themselves contending with. Most flea problems affect pet owners (normally those with cats)
Flea Control
Fleas infestations can be become intolerable if left untreated, however once a problem is identified it can be easily controlled. A simple treatment of the carpets within the effected property is all that is needed, however due to the nature of the insecticides used to treat fleas the product that we use is not a simple can of bug killer that the general public can buy from the shops.
If you are finding insect bite marks on your legs, take a look at the edges of the carpets in your home. If you have a flea problem, you should be able to identify this by looking at the skirting boards! If fleas are present you will see evidence within this area.
If you have pets such as cats, take a look at their bedding and surrounding area. Cats are the usual culprits for bringing fleas into the home.
If you have a flea problem, please call us and we can arrange a time to visit your home and administer a treatment program and quickly solve your flea emergency.
Please note, before we apply a treatment, you will need to ensure that all furniture and other items have been moved away from the edges of the carpets and easy access to the skirting boards is available.
After we have applied the treatment, you will not be able to hoover the carpets for 2 weeks. This is due to the lifecycle of the flea, any flea eggs that may be present in the carpet will hatch within this 2 week period and the treatment will kill the newly hatched fleas as soon as they emerge.
